To me, human-centred storytelling is about vulnerability:
Showing emotional courage and daring to appear as we really are. But it can be difficult to be brave in a world where openness seems naive. Benevolence is interpreted as a weakness. And generosity is associated with the giving of material gifts.
As a passionate Filmmaker, Actor and Playwright, it is my vision to inspire and share people's vulnerabilities:
Stories about those who dare to love unconditionally. Those who dare to be openly present and generous by giving others their emotional support. Those who are truly empathetic and brave enough to risk facing something about themselves when engaging with others. I strongly believe that vulnerability creates community.
That's why I call myself a human-centred storyteller.
